Quilla Hello September 30, 2007
Hi daddy! Did you welcome Uncle Mac into heaven this morning? It's sad to see him go but I know that he is better off just like you. I hope that you all are having a ball. Talk to you later.
Quilla Just to talk September 9, 2007

Hi Daddy,

Just got back from your house. Do you know that you had a lot of stuff. We have been cleaning for a year now. You just kept everything!!! Some of those clothes mama said you had when you guys were in high school. By the way did I tell you that I completed the requirements for my MBA. My graduation is in December and I know that you will be there. We are planning your Commeration(i'm sure that's missed spelled) for your birthday in December. Last year everything was great. Talk to you later.

Jannie I miss you September 7, 2007

Ernest,

It has been over 14 months since you went home to be with The Lord. I still expect to hear your voice under the tree. Whenever I am outside I feel you out there. I thought that I would never have my heart broken again but it broke my heart when you went away, the loss of you will be with me until I see you again. I am glad that your head doesn't hurt anymore. I love you Ernest Lee!!!

Quilla Missing You More Today August 26, 2007
Lord knows it is so hard each day just to get by without you by my side. But I know in a way you are. I ache just to hear you fussing with mama again. What a funny thing. The things i took for granted so many times. Now all i have are photos and memories, and they seem not enough.I know you are home and have no worries and no pain and will forever work in God's garden as you did here.
Quilla Hello August 25, 2007

Hi Daddy

It's been over a year since you been gone and I miss you like it was yesterday. Everybody here is doing well. Shad is back in school and mama is getting stronger everyday. Football season kicked off last night at the high school. I haven't been since you left. It kinda depresses me knowing that you want be there hollering like always. I passed by the field and look in the stand to see if I see you sitting in your favorite seat. Well that's all for now! Keep watching over us.
